Hi my name is Dawn Terry! I am a licensed Real Estate Broker as well as a Certified Stager. I love what I do and .....in this business, I know what that means. I must work hard and smart, to give my clients, a stress free experience, when buying or selling a piece of property. I also LISTEN........ and seek out, my clients true wants and needs. To have TRUST In your Real Estate Broker is everything. Yes.... they might be a friend or a family member or someone you have never met but.....trust in each other is key. Remember, that is how we make a living. Although commissions are and have always been negotiable, you should be as happy to pay your Broker for their hard work, as they are to work hard and long hours for you. Real Estate is a 24/7 job. New Listings and Sold signs happen 24 hours a day.

Here is a little more information about my career in Real Estate.
My love for Real Estate began over 30 years ago as an Escrow Officer in the Title Insurance business. I acquired my Real Estate license, to give me a better understanding of all sides of a Real Estate transaction, from the beginning to the end!
My career path was already in motion. I started from being an Escrow Officer to Branch Manager, then Vice President and eventually, Owner of several Title Insurance Companies in the greater Houston area and surrounding counties.
After receiving my Broker’s license in 2010, I opened my Real Estate firm, Dawn Terry Properties.
My INTEREST in Fayette Counties local Real Estate market began in the late 90’s , when our family, The Terry's, purchased land on Hwy 71 and developed CRIER CREEK FAMILY RANCH. and we made it our home.
My daughters attended La Grange schools and our family actively participated in pur Church and Community. We volunteered and hosted many gatherings at Crier Creek Ranch which benefited, not only, Fayette County but surrounding counties as well. From Youth hunts and Rodeos, to fishing tournaments and trail rides, we Terry’s made many lasting relationships in La Grange and it remained our home away from home, even after we relocated back to Houston.
I am a Native Texan and was so honored to receive the award, “Yellow Rose of Texas”, by the Governor of our great state.
I can also day, the greatest blessing of all for me, was raising my three daughters.... and now being, Gigi, to my precious grandchildren.
